A big thank you to all who came to our successful Sussex Gin & Fizz Festival celebrating Sussex produced sparkling wine & gin. 

We had talks by industry experts, samples of award winning drinks and live music curated by Union Music Store. 

The event was organised and supported by Lewes District Council.

Southover Grange Gardens, Lewes

Southover Grange Gardens are in the heart of Lewes, five minutes walk from Lewes Railway Station. The beautiful gardens are a mass of colour making it the perfect location for this end of Summer event. 

Please note that dogs are not allowed into the gardens.

Southover Grange Gardens is fully accessible for wheelchair users and motorised buggies and there is an accessible toilet (accessed via Radar key) on site. 

Do consider using public transport rather than driving – and please, above all, Don’t Drink and Drive.

Bus - Take Brighton & Hove Buses Regency Route (28 & 29 buses) running every 15 minutes to Lewes from Brighton and Tunbridge Wells. Click here for full bus time timetable or visit Traveline for other bus services.

2nd: Depart Brighton (Old Steine - Bus Stop Q, facing towards the Royal Albion Hotel) 12:30- Arrive Lewes 13:00

Depart Lewes 17:30 - Arrive Brighton (Old Steine - Bus Stop Q, facing towards the Royal Albion Hotel) 18:00 Please note there is one return journey only.

Enjoy local artisan food stalls, or bring your own picnic to enjoy under cover in the walled gardens at Southover Grange in Lewes. Foodies will love festival fare from Sussex stalls Garlic Wood FarmThe Pig & JacketBetsy's Bake and Hannah's Van. Enjoy non alcoholic drinks from South Downs Natural Mineral Water and You Juice

Please note that picnics are allowed on site but you are not allowed to bring in any alcoholic drinks to the festival.

12:30 How to make the perfect G&T with Mama Gin

Mama Gin is a mobile cocktail bar in a converted vintage Citroen horsebox. Their emphasis is on locally sourced gin and sparkling wine based cocktails. Join Eliot Rogers for this demonstration of how to make the perfect G&T and other gin based cocktails.
